Entry requirements
 A Tier 4 (General) Student Visa from UKVI
 CEFR Level B2 (equivalent IELTS score of 6.0 or above).
 All learners must have completed a Level 2 course in catering or equivalent. Or, Industrial experience with a good written and verbal communication skills looking for career development

Course Description
This qualification is designed for learners employed in management roles in the hospitality industry who need to develop or consolidate their skills.

Learners must take mandatory units that cover aspects of managing the performance of teams and individuals, working as part of a hospitality management team to achieve strategic goals, managing compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements, and managing own professional development within an organisation.

Who is the course suitable for?
The Edexcel Level 4 Diploma in Hospitality Management (QCF) is suitable for people already employed in the hospitality industry and for those wishing to gain entry into the industry.

This qualification is for people working, or wishing to work, in a wide range of hospitality and catering businesses, for example:
 contract caterers
 fine dining restaurants
 holiday parks
 quick service restaurants

Course content
Manage the performance of teams and individuals’ work as part of a Hospitality Management Team to achieve strategic goals manage compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements in hospitality.

Development of Maths and English
The College also supports and encourages the development of your core Maths and English skills which will be improved through the programme, but for those looking to develop further it is possible to undertake additional programmes and gain additional Maths and English qualifications.

Employability Skills Development
Throughout the course you will be working in a simulated work environment to help develop and prepare you for employment in the Hospitality and Catering sector.

How will the course be taught?
You will be taught by highly qualified and experienced professionals who will use a wide variety of teaching methods to help you to learn and progress to the next level.

Lectures, discussions, independent research online exams and practical tasks. You will also have access to e-Learning material which will allow you to study away from the College.

How will I know how well I am doing?
Every student has a personal tutor who will meet with their tutees on a regular basis to ensure they are making good progress. Tutors make sure that you receive regular feedback, manage your workload and meet college expectations.

Are there any additional costs?
Coming to college is a full time commitment and you will need to ensure that you have factored in the cost of travelling to college and potentially to a local work placement. We do recommend a few good resources that you can choose to purchase if you wish. We may request contributions are made to trips and outings.
