Plastic Pollution Awareness and Action Projects
Single-use plastic has a long lasting detrimental effect on the global environment and the catering and food industry contributes a significant amount to this problem. Most of it does end up in our oceans and we need to make a change before it’s too late.
We’ve teamed up with Plastic Pollution Awareness and Action Projects to help raise awareness and try and find alternative solutions to single use plastic within our industry.
We’ve held ‘Curry and Conversation’ seminars all over the country engaging with local businesses, councillors, caterers with the aim of getting everyone involved.
The popularity and scope of these interactive seminars has grown significantly since we started. Open to anyone and everyone who shares the same concerns.
The success of these workshops has also been noticed and commended by The Commonwealth Secretariat, where we engaged in conversation at their headquarters and discussed potential collaboration on future projects.
