Addressing Staff And Skills Shortages – UK Curry Connect

About The Campaign

We have been tirelessly campaigning for the government’s help to address the skills and staff shortages that the industry has been facing. We have written a policy proposal that also addresses the plight of undocumented migrants, into a more legitimate environment that would be both beneficial to the government and industry.

The political landscape is continually changing, and with recent developments so is the UK’s immigration policy. The hospitality industry as a whole will be greatly affected and will need to adapt. UKCC will be at the forefront of consulting with trade bodies and ministers to address concerns that our industry and employees face.

We have also recently consulted with the Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) on issues surrounding recruitment within our industry and how migration plays a role.
